Wow !!

Entering Portugal at Valenca through a tunnel bridge

and we head for the coast at Viana do Castelo.

 As we travel inland through Barcelos and Braga avoiding motorways and main roads we see some great scenery

heading north we arrive in Ponte de Lima where there is a local fiesta taking place,

 lots of stalls selling local produce and general jollity abounds,

 after a wander round we buy some local cheese and cakes. We head eastwards up the valley and into the national park da Penda Geres passing through some stunning scenery and huge lakes,

we park up for night 800m up in the mountains west of Chaves.
