Or Lubbly-jubbly as we’ve renamed it is a very pleasant city to wander round as all the old town (the interesting bit) has no traffic allowed in it giving it a very relaxing feel, it can easily be seen in a day.
The locals seem a bit weird
And so is their transport.
They have a pink church.
and a dragon bridge.
After exploring the tiny alleyways we head up to the castle for a view of the town.
All in all a very pleasant city, and so far so is Slovenia.
The language is a bit of a nightmare though, even their greeting of good day is “Dobberdan” sounds more suited to “Bill and Ben” (the flowerpot men). As with everywhere we go even the Slovenians have trouble pronouncing and spelling my name.
