The next day is a drive over the mountains
To lake Garda
Where we stop for the night in Pesceira del Garda and have a pizza in the piazza.
Next day is a short 20km drive to the town of Garda where we park up and head out to the port to catch a ferry round the lake, we stop off at Gargnano on the western coast for a wander round and an Italian ice cream before taking the slow boat back to Garda. Here's some pics of the day out
some of the scenery is like stepping back in time to the 1890's
Germans outnumber any other nationality on Garda by a long way, we’ve heard a few British voices and a smattering of Americans.
We also saw a flock of green parrots eating damsons in the trees where we were parked.
