Following breakfast we drive to Ullapool, not quite the end of the world but you can see it from there.
we park up for the day where we meet up with Ann and Kev for a drive out to see the summer isles, a collection of small mainly uninhabited islands.
Stunning scenery round every bend in the winding single track road leading to the small hamlet of Culnacraig, stopping off en-route to visit a salmon smoking place and various viewpoints and beaches.
an idyllic day which finds us pitching up in a campsite in town on the banks of loch broom, the woman in the shop tells us that it was -1 degrees last night.
Off to see a local pipe band and highland dancing parade through the streets then to the pub.........
