Life’s a beach

Made it to Perhentian Besar and we’ve got a room at the watercolours resort with many thanks to the receptionist of the Ridel hotel in Kota Bharu who overheard us trying to book some accommodation and said she could help. There are some fabulous beaches and the food is pretty good too so that’s us sorted for the next three days.

A brief outline of our itinerary when we leave here


Plan is to head south by road to Singapore for a few days then maybe fly to Medan in Sumatra and spend about ten days travelling round (although it’s a big place) then head off to Borneo for a week or so, yes it really is that vague, we’re doing a bit of research as we go and we’ll make plans as and when we can.
