on our way south

Well we have a freezer full of sausages (the continental ones aren't quite as nice as a good old british banger) and we're now in St Jean de Luz in south west France a few km from the Spanish border having caught the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and driven for the last day and a half. It's still cold though at 6 degrees C despite that the trees are starting to blossom and things are taking on a spring like feel at last. No photos to post at the moment but hopefully in the next post we'll be somewhere a bit warmer. Off out for a meal tonight in town.
