We're now back in Portishead looking forward to our next adventure.
Looking back at our time in Norway we found that almost everybody we encountered spoke perfect English, everybody was friendly and more than willing to chat about life in Norway and pretty much anything else.
The weather was extremely cold although it was a very dry cold, one day it was minus 33 degrees during the night and the sea froze. It's amazing !!, the scenery is stunning. Once you get used to the fact that it's only light for four hours during the polar winter you adapt pretty quickly and make the most of the daylight.
Everything is very expensive, food and drink costs twice what it does here in England, fuel is a little bit dearer and house prices about the same.
We would certainly recommend a visit to Norway to anyone, we're planning to go back later in the year in the motorhome to see what it's like without the snow, so watch this space.
